The cassette-style, direct-acting TLP production riser tensioner is designed to fit into a supported frame/slot on the production deck of a floating platform. The unit pulls tension on a production riser pipe while compensating for the environmental forces on a floating platform.

Ten-dome

Fully adaptable for all ranges of tensions, strokes and applications
The ten-dome, direct-acting riser tensioner is comprised of a steel base frame that is custom designed to fit the operator’s production well-bay footprint. The tension ring attaches to the production riser and is guided through a set of rollers located on top of the tensioner unit.
