Active Heave Compensators

Installing an active heave compensator (AHC) allows for more control during drilling operations and landing heavy equipment such as a BOP stack. DTI’s system is designed so that it can be implemented as part of an ongoing project or installed subsequently. The AHC perfectly complements the crown-mounted compensator to filter out the remaining vessel heave required when landing heavy equipment. DTI offers a range of AHC sizes and capacities that meet project specifications and are appropriate for the crown-mounted compensator being used.
